12 Days of Christmas - Day #3

It is day #3 of 12 Days of Christmas! :o So that means...

I shall post the line of the song very soon! :P

So, before I talk about Christmas, let's see what happened in update day!

Deer are back! That doesn't change much for me since I already have a deer from last year... o.o But seriously?! I don't remember deer being THIS popular last year! Yesterday, all I saw were deer. All the same color. Probably wearing skullys.

There's two right there. I saw way more yesterday though!

Skullys are back! Well, they have gotten redone so they don't look as beta, they are member, and diamond. I bought them already but I don't expect to wear them a ton...

Pet polar bears are back! :O I neeeedddd one!!! And gingerbread armor has come from the Play Wild app. I saw someone in Jamaa Township calling the helmet a 'head house'. XD

Reminder for the daily gifts and Jamaaliday jazz. XD

A new animal is coming! And a reminder to watch a silly video. Ugh, another animal...

Wait a sec, HOLD UP!

I just read something in 'Animal Jam Official Insider's Guide' that may make you change your mind about new animals. Lemme read what it says, "It's one thing to have an idea for a great animal character or an awesome new world. But how does it get from the artist's imagination to your computer? Technology! The team at Smart Bob uses software programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash, as well as Autodesk Maya 3-D Animation, to create the virtual characters and worlds you know so well. Over 3,000 pictures are drawn to complete just one animal. The process takes about two and a half months."

C'mon guys! This 'ugh new animal' takes 3,000 pictures! That's a TON of the same animal! And then to make all the clothes in the whole GAME to work nicely on the animal! That's a ton of work!

And next up is a reminder that 2016 is leaving us soon. XD And to go to the Conservation Museum to go see Antlers, Horns, and Tusks or something. :P

12 Days of Christmas - Day #2

Ho ho ho! 😄 Welcome back to another post of the brand new post series!

So like I said in yesterday's post, I will be posting every day til Christmas. Each day, there will be a picture for the song, 12 Days of Christmas, Animal Jam-ized and a little Christmas content! Be sure to check back every day, especially on Christmas Eve and Christmas day! Those days will be special!

Also, you may or may not notice I put a little handy dandy Christmas countdown on the left side of your screen. That way, you'll know how close it is to Christmas without looking at a calendar!

Anyhoo, let's begin! 😉

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

So today, I'm going to be talking about...

Christmas traditions!

When I'm talking about traditions, I don't mean those old boring traditions that last for generations and generations and generations, etc. I'm talking about just little fun ones that may or may not last into another generation.

Here's a list of traditions that I have around Christmas:

• Every year, my family pulls tickets. So we all write our names down on a piece of paper and put it in a bowl/hat. Then, we pass the bowl/hat around and each take one piece of paper. Whoever's name is on that paper you get is the person you have to shop for. But you can't tell anyone who you have! It's a surprise! On Christmas Eve, one of us gives our ticket gift to our secret person. Then that person gives it to their secret person and so on. It's super fun! This year I have ...! (LOL, I can't say! 😏)
• On Christmas Eve, me and my family open up our stockings. I usually go first. (Since I'm the youngest. 😜) After each person opens their stocking, we take a picture of all their stuff and them. And on Christmas, we take turns opening presents while we video tape it. We kinda take opening gifts real slowly! I love it though!
• On Christmas morning, I am usually the first to wake up. (Which isn't really a tradition but still! 😊) But then I wait until everybody wakes up. When my brother (Dreadwisp) wakes up, we play Wii or DS. But last Christmas, I played Animal Jam with my new membership and polar bear!
• On Christmas Eve, we stay up late and on Christmas day, we eat snacky foods for lunch and supper!
• On the 26th, me and my family usually have a lazy day of building Lego, drinking hot chocolates, and playing with our new 'toys'.
• Oh gosh, I better stop here! I just keep wanting Christmas to come NOW! 😭😂

12 Days of Christmas - Countdown!

Well, what do you know?! It's almost Christmas! ^.^

That's right, it's twelve days til CHRISTMAS! *screams*

To celebrate Christmas, I will be doing something kinda... how should I say this...

SPECIAL! XD

So, here's what's gonna happen:

Every day until Christmas, I am going to post a new picture! Every picture is going to be like the song, "A partridge in a pear tree, two turtle doves, three French hens, four calling birds, five golden rings, six geese a laying, seven swans a swimming, eight maids a milking, nine ladies dancing, ten lords a leaping, eleven pipers playing, twelve drummers drumming."

But there's a catch...

It's going to be the ANIMAL JAM version!

In this blog series, that will last for twelve days, I will talk about random things about Christmas. The posts on Christmas Eve and Christmas day will be even more special! So be sure to check back every day so we can celebrate together!

Mini Announcement!

Hey guys! I just want to let you know that I finally publish Chapter 7 of Jamaasian High! Have fun reading and meeting new some characters!!

Christmas is Coming!!

Hola amigos and amigas!

Well, well, it is sure beginning to look a LOT like Christmas where I am. Yesterday was a total snow day!

I woke up to Christmas lights on the tree and walked to the window in the living room. And boy, there was a ton of snow! My siblings didn't go to college due to the weather. And now, it really looks like a winter wonderland!

Sleigh bells ring,
are you listening,
in the lane,
snow is glistening,
a beautiful sight,
we're happy tonight,
walking in a winter wonderland!

Ah. I love Christmas carols. ^-^

So yesterday, all I did was chill out inside, admiring the lovely snow, and hang out with my siblings.

And to make things more like Christmas, on Sunday, me and my family put up our (fake) Christmas tree and all the ornaments.

Every year, my parents buy me and my siblings an ornament. This year, I got a little fluffy llama that was made in Peru! It seems like the perfect ornament for this year. An animal for the year I made an AJ blog. ^.^

Well, since Christmas IS coming, I decided to make a holiday tag!

1. What do you want for Christmas (on AJ)?
Hmm, I really like party hats and Jamaaliday bows. I have no clue why, I just like 'em. XD

2. Do you have any Christmas traditions?
Yes, me and my family do. We have this Christmas cassette tape that is really old. Like, it was made in 1982. XD So we listen to it on some Sunday in December and then we put it away until next year. :P And then we have this other tradition where every Christmas morning, our breakfast is apple scones made by my mom that morning. My parents then put a candle in each of our scones except theirs and then we sing happy birthday to Jesus. Then we blow out the candles and eat the scones. ^.^

3. What's your most favorite part of Christmas?
Ooh boy. Everything? XD I really love all the family time and every December 26th, we build our LEGO and play with our 'toys' and things. It's so much fun! And then there's skating on the ice rink and sledding down the hill in my blue saucer thing. It's a lot of fun slipping and sliding down the hill while your saucer turns in circles so all of a sudden, you see the top of the hill instead of the bottom! And I love screaming with glee. XD

4. What do you want for Christmas?
An iPad! I want to play apps (like AJ - Play Wild!) and email on there too. I also want a Wii U and a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet. AND AJ TOYS!!!!

5. Do you believe in Santa? If not, have you ever?
I do not believe in Santa and I don't think I ever have. I mean, as a kid, I joked that my parents were Santa. (My dad was also the tooth fairy.) But no, I haven't ever really believed in Santa. ;)

The Post in Which Lost Rambles On About the Most Random Things

Ho ho ho! Merry Jamaalidays, jammers! XD

Wowie, I logged onto AJ yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find snow on the ground and decorations up all over Jamaa!

Yesterday was update day! *screams*

Before I continue, I'd just like to say this: Please be ready for the most random post in the history of all posts in the entire world. Got it? Good! XD

So basically, in the update yesterday, everything Jamaaliday came back. The adventure, the clothes, the den items, the den, the party, the daily gift, EVERYTHING! :P

This will be my second Jamaaliday! Last year, I was a non-member until Christmas when I woke up early and went on the computer and played AJ as an amazing member polar bear. XD

I'm pretty excited to experience Jamaaliday as a member. 😳

EDIT: Here's a little story: A little while back, I was wandering around Wisteriamoon's art gallery den when all of a sudden, I see some otter cry out "AUTO!" I looked around and didn't see anyone famous. Why were they saying auto? But then the otter says "LOSTFAIRY I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN!" I am in shock! What are the chances that one of my fans was at the same den I was? The otter then says "AUTO PLZ!" so I sent them a nice auto. :) But then a bunch of people started saying "Who's Lostfairy?!" And then more people started asking for autos and they wanted to be my buddy! I tried to send autographs to everyone who asked. But it was such a cool experience! ^-^

 

Then later, a person who I had buddied went to my den. "Where are the people?" they asked me. I was like, "What people?" and they replied back "Your famous, there should be people." Like, me?! Famous?! XDD *chuckles* I'm actually not famous but it was fun to be sorta famous for a few minutes!

 

But something confused me. One person sent a JAG saying I was famous because of my art? Like, my art was in AJHQ's den for a little while but it got traded to some random person a long time ago. O,o Interesting!

Well, sorry for the week break! That last post drained me, I guess. (It took 3 whole days to write it...)

Speaking of which, Swirlshine just made a post almost exactly like mine but about herself! You should go on over and read it. :D

Reacting to old art!

I got the idea from Purplestarclub and Swirlshine. And I thought, "Hmm, what if I did this?"

So I looked through some old notebooks and found some crazy awesome drawings to show you! (NOTE: Today, 'crazy awesome'=terrible... XD)

Let's begin! And get ready to laugh like crazy! 😄

Oh wait, I know! It's a girl with the squarest head in the world. And squarest body. And creepy legs. XD And look at that great hair! So stylish.
Okay, I actually remember drawing this. I was pretty young. I think I showed it to Koolestkat and she liked it. :P

Oh my goodness, guys! I found the rare monster with a mohawk and sideways feet and knob fingers!! XD Though really, just stare at it long enough and you will have nightmares of this. o,o

Okay, I actually know what this is. XD It's a zoo with lions and a hippo and a giraffe. But I don't think I finished it...

I think there's Northern Lights in the sky. Or fall leaves. Or it's nothing but scribbles. But that HAIR! And one arm/hand is circle and the other is rectangle?

For all you who don't know, Sunshine is my Webkinz lion. She was one of my two first Webkinz. Younger me thought it would be amazing to have a lion with a mane be a girl. Because, all lioness's have manes... XD

O,O That, I believe, is a person getting hypnotized and just got hit by lightning so their hair is stuck up weirdly. And they lost their legs and arms. And they have the ugliest nose. XD

I think that is my stuffed Ty hamster. I have nothing else to say except that he is looking very happy.
And you thought YOUR hamster drawing looked bad, Swirl?! XD

Uhh, that is a giraffe butterfly kite. With lollipops for antennae. And look! The girl has a beard! XD

I was not 5. I was 7 when I did the last one and 8 when I did the hamster. Some of them might have been when I was 5 but...

This was 3 years ago.

ONLY 3 YEARS AGO.

Dude, I look at it and I'm like, "How did I come from hating drawing to considering being an artist later?"

I showed my family and they were surprised. They remember when I drew like this. Messy and weird. But they are all shocked at how much I have improved.

I hope you can tell I have improved in my drawing. XD

My life has been kinda full. It sounds like a dumb excuse but it's true. And then I tried to write a little while ago but my fonts went all wonky and weird. I THINK they are fixed... And I have always had my hands full with a little fan fiction for Gracie's contest that ends in 5 DAYS!! INEEDTOHURRYUPANDWRITE!!!! XD

I will try to write JH after I am done my short fan fiction. :)
