Halloween Party Pictures!

Hey howdy hey! I seem to have forgotten how to write proper intros so forgive me for my lack of creativity. XD I need someone to make a "How To Write Awesome Intros" post. Please. I'd pay you! A million spikes! A million spikey spikes!

Anywayyyy, I meant to have this posted way sooner but it slipped my mind... I blame EXO. They caused me to have a one week condition called Temposwoonatitus. It's a condition where a mind blowing comeback by amazing people gets released after quite a while and the comeback is beautiful and has footstomping melodies that you couldn't BELIEVE. I was literally stomping my foot a lot last Friday, mostly in a public park. True story!

Okay, what I mean to say is, my AJ Halloween party happened a week ago and I wanted to post the pictures from it! ^.^

Kudos to Chloe for helping me create my Alice Angel costume! What a gal! XD Everyone's costumes were great!

I honestly don't know what we're talking about! XD I think I got "oot for" explained to me but I forgetttt. *gives Ja puppy eyes* Help? c:

I had a good laugh when Sarah started saying "Sheep sheep, it's time to sleep." I don't even know whyyyy! XD

The last theme in the spooky fashion show was being a creepy stalker. Cuz those are the scariest monster of all.

Lost in the Melodies - The Great Divide

Hey guys! I know I could apologize again for my random absence but my posts lately have been filled with apologies so I'll make it short and snappy. I am so sorry I left for, like, half a month! I've been busy, trying to enjoy summer since I'm going back to school on Tuesday... darn you, summer, you're too short. those three months flewwww by way too fast. :1

Anyway, today's post is going to be different.

And it will change the world FOREVER, MUWHAHAHAHAHA- *has a coughing fit*

Nah, not really. It will change my blog... kinda? I don't know. XD

I've had this idea for a new post series that deeply interests me so these posts will be super fun to write and just throw out into the internet for everyone to read. And today's the day I start this post series. It has nothing to do with AJ, sadlyyyy, but that does not mean AJJ won't get AJ content. It just means I'll post on here more because I'll have this exciting post series to write about and that means this blog won't die, you'll get more reading content.

And c'mon, think about it. Has this blog ever truly just been about AJ? Maybe back in my first year of writing but eh, not now. XD

Confused? Let me explain!

I have a huge interest in music. Which is kind of odd, since for most of my life, I was never interested in music. I had no albums, I never listened to music I enjoyed because... well, I had no taste of music. I had no genres I liked more than others and I just listened to whatever my family listened to.

Then last year, something changed. I don't know what, to be honest.

I suddenly found out I love pop music, soundtracks, some rap music, video game music, some music I don't even know what to call! Now, my headphones are something incredibly important to me and I can't go on the computer without my headphones because I need music. It feels dull if I go online and have nothing to listen to. *shrugs*

If you know me, you know that I love blabbering about things I love and it's kinda impossible for me to stop talking about it. (See how this was supposed to be a SHORT intro for the post series? I talk too much. XD) Since music is important to me, I usually find meanings or deep feelings about songs. But throwing them at my friends when we're talking about something that's totally NOT my music is not... the best option? XD

So, in these "Lost in the Melodies" posts (hehe, thanks, Chloe, for helping with the name!), I will talk about one song in each post and say what it means to me and what it makes me think of. Basically, a very opinionated review... kind of. Is that cool with you guys? :D

The Great Divide - Rebecca Black (Crash Cove Remix)

This song. It's insanely powerful for me. Like, whoa.

Swirl was the one who recommended this song to me, so THANK YOU, SWIRL, FOR GIVING ME THIS AWESOME SONG.

The lines in The Great Divide are important to me. To most people, this song could sound rebellious and hurtful but seriously, I've gone through situations that the song talks about. My thoughts on them are jumbled and angry but this song? It puts it in such a poetic, beautiful way. It's so truthful.

Let's just say, a lot of my friend life has ended up in the way this song talked about.

I had a best friend who I knew since I was young and we grew up together, we hung out at church all the time.

Suddenly, for reasons I won't say, she did something that hurt me so bad that I stepped back from the relationship. Funny how history ends in an instant, how something so close can end up so distant.

Another time, I was really good friends with a different girl, we had such good times together. Talked lots, laughed even more. She was an amazing friend.There was a few rare times, she'd act differently. Stuck up. She'd act all high and mighty, just for a moment. But then everything went back to normal and I forgot about it.

Then, we had some debates and arguments. I was frustrated with her way of doing things, her ego was way too big to me, and she didn't understand that some of my opinions were different than hers. So, our friendship broke. I'm done feeding your ego, forgetting everything that we had.

But that wasn't the end of it. She kept coming back and told lies behind my back about me. She had a whole group of friends that all thought I was an awful person and some even told me what she had said. You go where the wind blows, destroying everyone in your path.

So I ended up going with my other friends and blowing up at her. She tried to lie and push her way out of the awkward situation. Finally, I gave up and have decided to leave her do whatever. Let her lie and bully others, be my guest. Good luck when you wake up, and realize all that you've lost. Shining lies are what you're made of, I hope it's worth the price that it cost.

There are more friend situations that I've been through like this but yeah. That's all I'll spill today. ;)

Anyway, what I mean to say, these lyrics are super special to me since I can relate to it. And this song is SO GOOD. Seriously, I haven't heard the normal version but the Crash Cove Remix is so good! The music is really fun and ahhh, I hope you all listen to it. <3

It kind of awes me that a song that only has a few lyrics can be so amazing. o.o

Helllloooooo, everyone!

So sorry I haven't posted in so long!! I've been a teeny bit stressed with school since I've fallen behind in math and stuff. And I've been spending a lot of time with my family. BUT I'M BACK WITH A POST NOW, SO YAY!! XD

A week ago, I put up a random poll asking what I should post about next because I like knowing what sort of posts you all like and wanted to see how it would go to have this poll. It went pretty well! I might do this kind of thing again. ;)

Since there is a tie, I'll do the one I feel like doing most right now and do the other one next week, don't you worry! ^.^

Art and edits time! (Though I must admit, I don't have a ton of edits to show you. Hmm, maybe I'll just make one for the post. XD)

This was an experiment I did on Chicken Smoothie, I was testing out the smearing tool and airbrush and stuff. I kinda made it into Hyrule Castle from Breath of the Wild but it's super messyyyyy! I kinda like the mess of it, though. :D

I really ship Ghirahim and Fi from Skyward Sword and I love both of their characters so I drew themmm! ^.^ I seriously could gush about them but that would be boring. XD

I'm pretty proud of how I did each of their cloaks, to be honest. :D

This is a WIP of my AJ Friendship Quilt! I still have to add two patterns and then I think I'm done?! But I really love how the first two patterns turned out so yay! The cherries... turned out way better than I thought they would. XD

This is also a WIP! It's for Koolest and I had started it, like, in September? But I didn't really feel motivated to work on it until this month. I'm not so sure how it'll turn out but hey, it might look better once it's done!!

Cuz that shading looks funky. *glares at it*

I'm watching my brother play Undertale and I keep noticing things I want to draw (Like Mettaton lying on Undyne's piano and eating grapes... XD) and one of them was baby Toriel with baby... Frisk's ancestor? I guess?

This is shown in the beginning story of the game and I just loved the thought of baby Toriel hanging out with Frisk's.... ancestor.... or something... XD It's still a WIP but I like how it's turning out. ;) When it's done, I might post it or you can find it in my CS gallery.

This was one of my first drawings on CS and it's still nottttttt done. I have a lot to fix and add (like ARMS. XD) but I like how I did the pattern on the Inklings shirt. I love Splatoon soooo I really wanted to try drawing an Inkling. I should try drawing a guy one sometime too. :o

Anotherrrrrr WIP. (I'm working on too many things at once...) It'sssss Frisk from Undertale! I'm using those markers I got at Christmas and I am not used to how wet they are so IT'S SO MESSY. XD

*wonders why only one leg is colored* Eh. I have weird methods. XD

I gotta color this one so IT'S ANOTHER WIP, GUYS. XD

I..... don't exactly know how to explain this one... It was a crazy roleplay done by Swirl, Sarah, and Ja and it had to do with a dragon, DanTDM and his pugs, a cat from Warriors (WHO HAS WINGS BECAUSE OF A THEORY SARAH HAS. XD), and a unicorn. So um... yeah. It was insane to read. But super hilarious. XD

I must say, I really like how it turned out. Although the cat is the size of a unicorn?????? IGNORE THAT.

And before I end this post, lemme throw in an edit I made just now.

I like making CS edits so I asked Koolest to show me one of her favorite pets and it was her pet named Savitar. (after the villain in The Flash. I wouldn't look him up cuz there's tons of spoilers.)

So, how is everyone? I'm feeling good! (my nose is a bit cold... *wrinkles nose*) I was sick last week with a sore throat, cough, and stuffy nose. But I feel a lot better now! ^.^

1. What book are you reading right now?

I am reading "The Stolen Chapters" by James Riley! It's the second book in Story Thieves and I loveeeeeeeeee this series! Owen and Kiel are my favoritest characters. THEY ARE SO CUTE. AHH. I LOVE BOTH OF THEM. Plus, Kiel with Bethany is adorable. ;)

I would talk more about this but spoilers! XD

Note: I love how the first book is in this cover. IT'S SUCH A COOL EASTER EGG.

2. What book did you previously read?

I last read "The Last Thing I Remember" by Andrew Klavan. It's not a book I'd normally read but it was good! I will definitely finish this series. ;)

But yeah, it was a very interesting humorous Christian actiony book about a teenage guy who can't remember how he got kidnapped and other stuff I would say but can't. XD

I am so good at describing books. XD

3. What book are you planning on reading next?

WINTER BY MARISSA MEYER. AHHH. I LOVE THE LUNAR CHRONICLES AND THIS IS THE LAST BOOK IN THE SERIES AND IT'S 800 PAGES LONG AND KAI IS SO CUTE.

Ahem. I really LOVE this series and it's taken me so lonnnnnng to get to reading this book. I read the third book in August so I REALLY NEED TO READ WINTER.

I wouldn't recommend this book for young readers but I totally tell a bit older readers to PICK THIS SERIES UP. ^.^

4. What series are you planning on reading next?

I don't usually read like, one series straight away, all the books back to back. I do it slowly and read a ton of series.

But I really want to read Harry Potter! It looks interesting to me and I like fantasy stuff so... XD

5. What is your favorite book series?

I don't have just ONE favorite series! I have so many! Story Thieves, Wings of Fire, Lunar Chronicles, and The Maze Runner are just four of my favorites. I would recommend all of these series! But then again, I like that series too... And that one...

Heh, I love too many books! XD

6. Favorite book character?

OH MY GOODNESS. SARAH. BOOK SERIES WAS HARD ENOUGH.

1. Share 3 random things you did in your life that you've never shared before.

Oh boy... Things I've NEVER shared before? Hmm...

1. I used to play with stuffed toys and toys a lot and they all had voices and I made up CRAZY plots with Koolest. One time we had a war happen. We even had waves of toys that would come at different times. XD My favorite toy to play with was a little grey bear named Teeny Bear. She had a very squeaky voice and was demanding. XD Koolest had her companion, Little Bear. Ah, we had such weird plots. We had hospitals for the war soldiers and a orphanage called Miscellaneous Children. I was such a weird kid.

Then again, what's changed? XD

2. This one has a long story, yayyyy! XD

One day, me and Koolest biked to the library to drop books off. We saw some guys around our age just hanging around but something felt a bit weird to us so we went to the small park nearby and waited for them to leave. But as we waited, we saw two of the guys go behind a wooden shack thing that's close to the ice rink that is there in winter. The shack is for putting your skates on where the wind can't get you. Then the other dude bikes around the library as if he was searching or looking for something. That was a bit odd to me. o.o

 Then he biked around out of view into the shack and we couldn't see them anymore.

But a few minutes later, all three of them started walking/biking away kinda fast. They went past us and kept looking at us or back at the shack. Me and Koolest then noticed a small wisp of smoke coming from the shack after the boys left. So we ran over as fast as we could and saw a fire that was growing because of the dry hay and wooden shack.

Me and Koolest were panicked because we don't own cellphones and the library was closed that day. We couldn't phone 911 or anything! But then a lady drove up to drop books off and she quickly phoned 911 for us.

Then librarians who were working in the library even though it was closed just for that day came out and told me and Koolest could come and sit and wait for the police cuz they would want to ask us questions about the boys.

So the police came and asked us a bunch of questions on their appearances and stuff. I was really nervous and shaken up and hoped I remembered all the right details.

I don't think they found those guys, sadly. o.o

3. Um, I can't really think of any so LET'S JUST SAY THIS. XD

I have kicked Mocha before. A few times, actually.

I KNOW, I KNOW, THAT IS SO BAD. MOCHA IS JUST A CUTE LITTLE FLUFFBALL OF ADORABLENESS. But I was just walking and didn't see that Mocha had stopped in front of me and POW, I kicked her.

She gave me her death glare and kept walking. I felt bad. XD

2. Name your 3 favorite movie series.

1. The Maze Runner!!! I love the cast together and they are just such good movies! :D The Death Cure might be my favorite of the three. (even though I sobbed)

2. Umm, I don't watch any other movies series so I'll say TV shows! The Flash!! IT IS SO GOOD. I CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN HOW AMAZING IT IS.

3. Once Upon A Time! I loveeee the twisty plots and characters. ^.^

Kraft brushed the slime off her jacket and walked through the portal hallway. Surely her home had to be somewhere... A sudden explosion caught her attention. Coming from a neon rainbow portal was a pug! Kraft squealed like a happy baby and ran towards it, but then it did the unthinkable...

Kraft let out a blood-curdling screech and drew her sword. She was determined to uncover the cause of this pug's awful actions. She jumped through the portal, landing in a VERY bizarre world. A bizarre looking Knuckles walked over.
"heyo Kraf. Do you kno de whey?" He asked. Kraft hit him with a book and ran through the jungle. Plants with Doge faces widened their eyes at her.
"I can't be..." Kraft looked up to see Nyan cat, who was being ridden by a crudely drawn Shrek.
"I'M IN MEME LAND!" Kraft tripped over a fidget spinner and lands in a pit of lava. She stood up and drank some water.
The bottle was knocked out of her hand by a green frog on a unicycle.
"Dat Boi!" Kraft grinned.
"NO. DAB BOI!" Dat Boi dabbed. Kraft's eyes began to water with rainbow sparkles.
"no... NOT DAT BOI!" She wailed.
Kraft drew a badge on her jacket with a sharpie.
"THE DAB POLICE SAYS NO DABBING!" She yelled. DanTDM appeared out of a tree.
"ya called?"
"NO. YOU DID THE WRONG STORY MODE ENDING. DONT TALK TO ME MOR MY SON EVER AGAIN!" Kraft threw a Cheezit at DanTDM, then apologised.
"sorry... All these memes.. I'm going crazy!" She cried. Then, an army of 10 year old boys emerged from a bush
"DAB!" They yelled, holding a water bottle in the air.
Kraft wiped her nose.
"NO!" Her eyes began to glow red, "I SHALL NEVER DAB!" The children cried and ran home to their Doritos while Kraft went to find some better memes.

AJHQ #1 sat at the board meeting that was about what the new animal could be, with allthe other AJHQ's. Kate was scrolling on the computer looking at Gellyjones videos when on the side she saw the words "Dab Police" by Dantdm AJHQ #1 happened to see and shouted "I GOT IT!" Everyone looked at her, confused. "DO YOU SEE THAT VIDEO!?" AJHQ #1 now nicknamed Po. "Which one?" Mo asked Po, "DAB! DAB POLICE! WE SHOULD MAKE A NEW TYPE OF HORSE.
A FAT
HORSE
AND IT WILL DAB!!!
OH AND ALSO ITS PLAY WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HORSES!!"

IT'S STORY TIME, YOUNG ONES! GRANNY LOST IS HERE TO TELL YOU A STORY SO SIT YOUR BUTT DOWN AND LISTEN. XD

Aheeemmm.

A few days ago, Koolest and I were downstairs watching Josiah (our older brother) play Breath of the Wild on our Wii U. We were really hyper for some reason and Josiah was like, "Oh yeah, I am going to go attack a lynel!"

Now, a lynel is basically a mix between a centaur and a minotaur. So it's a horse with a mane and horns. It's also a bit humanoid. But these guys are one of the toughest badies to fight in the game!

For one, they can trample Link (Josiah is playing as him) easily.

Second of all, they are VERY fast and are good with a bow and arrow.

And thirdly, I looked up how to kill one and you need this power called Stasis upgraded to freeze lynels for a short time, jump onto it and then attack it from there until it bucks you off. Then repeat. Again and again.

Here's the catch.

Josiah doesn't have that power upgraded.

And the lynel had electricity arrows. And it was raining. Bad combo. XD

So anyway, Josiah rides in with his trusty steed named Blocky (We named it Blocky because one time it went right in front of Josiah just as he was about to shoot a monster with an arrow. So it blocked him... thus it's name Blocky. We also named a horse Oreo and Cookieeeeeeee. We are SUCH good horse naming experts. XD) and rides up to the lynel and one swipe with it's sword and uh, Link dies. :1

So Josiah kept going back and trying to kill it but ended up dying a ton. Around that time, we were all yelling about lynels when I misheard Josiah or Koolest and thought they said something about a lynel in space. So I yelled "A LYNEL IN SPACE?!" and Josiah yells back "THAT'S A MOVIE I WOULD WATCH!" I was like "WHAT? A MOVIE?" and Josiah claimed it sounded like a movie title.

So, uh... me and Koolest created this:

 

Wouldn't you want to watch a movie about a centaur/minotaur wearing a space helmet and jetpack in space surrounded by epic explosions and a UFO? Josiah Dyck would!

 

Uh, I basically just wanted to show off my weird edit. That took me an hour and a half to create. XDDD

 

Welp, this post has gotten... out of hand. And really random. I promise a semi-normal post will be up next week!!

Well, Hello There 2018!

Hello, it's your friendly neighborhood moustached neighbor! (Heh heh, sorry, another DanTDM reference!)

GUYS!!!!

IT'S 2018!!!!!

2017 IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2017 started off with me coming home from the youth retreat after driving all night. I was exhausted but happy to be home.

2018 started off with me starting to write this post and listening to Splatoon music. Not quite as eventful but, eh, who cares. XD

Didja guys stay up all night? I didn't, actually. I mean, I saw the clock at 12AM but I was in bed, almost asleep. XD

What did you guys do to celebrate? My family doesn't do a whole lot but on New Years Eve we had a super yummy supper of bacon wrapped wieners, Caesar salad, chicken wings, and pizza buns. It was all SO good! :o We also played a game called Balderdash which was creative and fun! Before supper, though, me and Koolest and my brother watched DanTDM on our Wii U and then my brother played Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild WHICH IS SO COOL!!!!!! :O You can hunt animals with your bow and arrow, climb mountains or pretty much anything, make food in a pot over a fire, catch fish, and AHHH, it's awesome. XD

Okay! Enough with my little chitchat!

Today's New Years! (Oops, I didn't end up finishing this post on New Years...)

So I'm going to be doing a little New Years post. (I said "little" because I don't have a whole lot of time to write it... heh.)

Looking back at 2017, it was a good, good year. But in some ways, it wasn't as good as I hoped. The main reason being that many of our AJ Blogger friends have quit. And I miss them all so badly. :(

But I try to look at the good of 2017!

Here's a small list of some of what I found good about 2017:

• I got closer to God and started to really enjoy praise and worship at my church or church in general.
• I got super close to some AJ Bloggers due to being able to talk to a lot of them in one place. (Y'all rock. ^-^)
• I started to learn how to really enjoy life.
• I made tons of awesome memories in the summer such as biking in the rain after getting ice cream blizzards (and having one explode on me, XD) or swimming out in the lake with my family on vacation or walking Mocha or biking with Koolest and than stopping somewhere random just to talk or talking for hours with the AJ Bloggers or watching TV shows with my siblings or biking fast down the sidewalks of my city.
• I got more connected into my nursery class at church.
• I learned how to socialize a bit more.
• I drew more and got better.
• I wrote more and got better.
• The Maze Runner series captured me and I seriously am the biggest fangirl for it.
• I found out Splatoon music is awesome. (XD)
• I found out DanTDM is an awesome, hilarious (and kid friendly) YouTuber and now love watching him on our Wii U with Koolest and my brother.
• I hung out with my siblings more.
• I found out that my AJ Blogger friends have my back.

I could keep going on but I think I'll stop here!

I hope you all can look back at 2017 and see that it was a good year! If you can't see it at first, look harder!

Alright, before I end this post off, let's have a little mini throwback. ^.^ I'll be looking at 2017 posts and pick random highlights. Throwbacks are fun so WOO! XD

2017 Throwback - Looking at all the Months

January:

OH MAN, I totally forgot sheep came out in January! I remember being excited that me and Koolest found the sheep door in an adventure. XD

February:

OOO, DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER THIS?! XD Suspense Saver became a superhero this year! (Hmm, he needs to appear more often.... possibly for my JH story, right?! XD)

Suspense Saver still gets called on to this very day...

March:

Koolest/Chloe made the first chapter of JH illustration. I was so proud to announce this and I still love itttttttt! :D My wittle shocked face is su cute! XD

April:

In April, I celebrated my first ever blogiversary! :O Ah, memories, memoriessss!

OH MY, DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER WHEN I CREATED LOTS OF EDITS FOR BLOGGER MEMES?! XDD

I think this hairy brownie was one of everyone's favorites. XD

May:

LARRY THE BUNNY!!!!!!!! XD

Guys, if you have NOT read Swirl's first chapter of Larry the Bunny, YOU MUST DO THAT NOW!!! It is pure awesomeness. XD

June:

AHHH, I remember the Summer Splash Party!! That was so much FUN!!! :D And Cat made this awesome edit for it! :o

Ah, yes. The Team Zios and Team Mira stuff was really popular for a while! (Hehe, I was rooting for Team Zios AKA the winning team. XD)

July:

Anyone remember my Canada Day Party? :O It was super special because Canada turned 100! ^.^

August:

Ahh, that was an incredible vacation. ^.^ I swam almost every day, I got AJ toys, I had a LOT of fun with my family, and I READ THE MAZE RUNNER FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WATCHED THE MAZE RUNNER MOVIE AND IT WAS AWESOME. XD

September:

DO Y'ALL REMEMBER THE SUMMER STORY CONTEST AND THE WINNER WAS ONLY ANNOUNCED IN SEPTEMBER NOT SUMMER?! XD

Ah hahaha, yes, I know. I still haven't made all the winner and runner-up's art. Heh.

October:

Oh yeahhh! I wrote my chapter of the Project in October! :o That was fun! ^.^

November:

In November I stumbled upon Doll Devine! It's actually so much fun and I really love making book/movie/video game characters. XD

OH, MEMORIES!! I remember when we made this, Sarah and Swirl!! That was so fun!!! XD

I also turned 15 in November!! :D

December:

Even though this Christmas countdown happened SUPER recently, it's still an awesome memory and belongs in this throwback. ;)
