IGNORE THAT BIG MESS CALLED AN INTRO. XD

So, how is everyone? I'm feeling good! (my nose is a bit cold... *wrinkles nose*) I was sick last week with a sore throat, cough, and stuffy nose. But I feel a lot better now! ^.^

Today's post is going to be all about TAGGGGSSS, YAY! (I am hyper, by the way.)

This first wonderful tag is created by Sarah and she tagged me too! And it's about something very close to my heart...

BOOKKKKKSSS!!! :D

Book Tag

1. What book are you reading right now?

I am reading "The Stolen Chapters" by James Riley! It's the second book in Story Thieves and I loveeeeeeeeee this series! Owen and Kiel are my favoritest characters. THEY ARE SO CUTE. AHH. I LOVE BOTH OF THEM. Plus, Kiel with Bethany is adorable. ;)

I would talk more about this but spoilers! XD

Note: I love how the first book is in this cover. IT'S SUCH A COOL EASTER EGG.

2. What book did you previously read?

I last read "The Last Thing I Remember" by Andrew Klavan. It's not a book I'd normally read but it was good! I will definitely finish this series. ;)

But yeah, it was a very interesting humorous Christian actiony book about a teenage guy who can't remember how he got kidnapped and other stuff I would say but can't. XD

I am so good at describing books. XD

3. What book are you planning on reading next?

WINTER BY MARISSA MEYER. AHHH. I LOVE THE LUNAR CHRONICLES AND THIS IS THE LAST BOOK IN THE SERIES AND IT'S 800 PAGES LONG AND KAI IS SO CUTE.

Ahem. I really LOVE this series and it's taken me so lonnnnnng to get to reading this book. I read the third book in August so I REALLY NEED TO READ WINTER.

I wouldn't recommend this book for young readers but I totally tell a bit older readers to PICK THIS SERIES UP. ^.^

4. What series are you planning on reading next?

I don't usually read like, one series straight away, all the books back to back. I do it slowly and read a ton of series.

But I really want to read Harry Potter! It looks interesting to me and I like fantasy stuff so... XD

5. What is your favorite book series?

I don't have just ONE favorite series! I have so many! Story Thieves, Wings of Fire, Lunar Chronicles, and The Maze Runner are just four of my favorites. I would recommend all of these series! But then again, I like that series too... And that one...

Heh, I love too many books! XD

6. Favorite book character?

OH MY GOODNESS. SARAH. BOOK SERIES WAS HARD ENOUGH.

This is going to be a very long list...

-Newt from The Maze Runner
-Owen and Kiel from Story Thieves
-Winter, Moonwatcher, Qibli, Turtle, and Kinkajou from Wings of Fire
-Kai, Cinder, Thorne, and Cress from The Lunar Chronicles
-SO MANY MORE.

Thanks again, Sarah, for this super fun tag!

Anyone can snatch this tag because... I don't know who has been tagged and I don't feel like searching for that information. XD

This next tag is called the Trio Tag and it was created by Ja Ja! Swirl kinda sorta tagged anyone who wanted to do it SO THANK YOU SWIRL FOR KINDA SORTA TAGGING ME!! :D

The Trio Tag

1. Share 3 random things you did in your life that you've never shared before.

Oh boy... Things I've NEVER shared before? Hmm...

1. I used to play with stuffed toys and toys a lot and they all had voices and I made up CRAZY plots with Koolest. One time we had a war happen. We even had waves of toys that would come at different times. XD My favorite toy to play with was a little grey bear named Teeny Bear. She had a very squeaky voice and was demanding. XD Koolest had her companion, Little Bear. Ah, we had such weird plots. We had hospitals for the war soldiers and a orphanage called Miscellaneous Children. I was such a weird kid.

Then again, what's changed? XD

2. This one has a long story, yayyyy! XD

One day, me and Koolest biked to the library to drop books off. We saw some guys around our age just hanging around but something felt a bit weird to us so we went to the small park nearby and waited for them to leave. But as we waited, we saw two of the guys go behind a wooden shack thing that's close to the ice rink that is there in winter. The shack is for putting your skates on where the wind can't get you. Then the other dude bikes around the library as if he was searching or looking for something. That was a bit odd to me. o.o

Then he biked around out of view into the shack and we couldn't see them anymore.

But a few minutes later, all three of them started walking/biking away kinda fast. They went past us and kept looking at us or back at the shack. Me and Koolest then noticed a small wisp of smoke coming from the shack after the boys left. So we ran over as fast as we could and saw a fire that was growing because of the dry hay and wooden shack.

Me and Koolest were panicked because we don't own cellphones and the library was closed that day. We couldn't phone 911 or anything! But then a lady drove up to drop books off and she quickly phoned 911 for us.

Then librarians who were working in the library even though it was closed just for that day came out and told me and Koolest could come and sit and wait for the police cuz they would want to ask us questions about the boys.

So the police came and asked us a bunch of questions on their appearances and stuff. I was really nervous and shaken up and hoped I remembered all the right details.

I don't think they found those guys, sadly. o.o

3. Um, I can't really think of any so LET'S JUST SAY THIS. XD

I have kicked Mocha before. A few times, actually.

I KNOW, I KNOW, THAT IS SO BAD. MOCHA IS JUST A CUTE LITTLE FLUFFBALL OF ADORABLENESS. But I was just walking and didn't see that Mocha had stopped in front of me and POW, I kicked her.

She gave me her death glare and kept walking. I felt bad. XD

2. Name your 3 favorite movie series.

1. The Maze Runner!!! I love the cast together and they are just such good movies! :D The Death Cure might be my favorite of the three. (even though I sobbed)

2. Umm, I don't watch any other movies series so I'll say TV shows! The Flash!! IT IS SO GOOD. I CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN HOW AMAZING IT IS.

3. Once Upon A Time! I loveeee the twisty plots and characters. ^.^

*sneakily adds 4* 4. Avatar The Last Airbender! I love Sokka and Zuko so much. Plus, I have SOOO MUCH FUN watching it with Koolest!

3. Name your 3 favorite places to go.

1. Home is where I'm happiest. ^.^

2. Church/youth. It's such a fun place to be. :D

3. The library or bookstores. SO MANY BOOKS. I LOVE THE SMELL OF NEW BOOKS.

4. Name the top 3 smaller things you want to do in your life right now.

1. Um, read/watch Harry Potter! XD

2. Finish my Fi and Ghirahim (from Legend of Zelda) art on Chicken Smoothie!

3. *whispers* Write more JH. XD

Thanks Swirl for kinda sorta tagging me and Ja for making this fun tag!!! :D

Anyone can do this tag, too!

Welp, have an amazing day, stay awesome, and...

Jam on!

Comment call: What did you think of these tags? I loved them!
P.S. Ack, I will tryyyyy to reply to comments soon! Sorry, I've been busy. DX

The Bibliophile Sweater Tag - A Sweatery Bookish Tag!

Hey guys! :D Today's post is going to non-AJ related so if you came here for loads of AJ talk and not a post about sweaters and books and sweater-ish books, then you may leave right now! No hard feelings. *covers face and sobs*

AHEM. Ignore that. ^

This wonderful graphic is made by the tag's creator, Mary Horton!

A few weeks ago, my oldest sister Tracey Dyck at Adventure Awaits tagged for me for a super adorable tag created by Mary Horton at Sunshine and Scribblings. (Knowing that there was some confusion last time I posted a non-AJ related tag, no this is not created by me nor is it an AJ tag. XD)

Mary whipped up some rules and their pretty simple. Let's read them, shall we? ^.^

- Give the person who tagged you a never-ending supply of cookies (or just thank them - either works) (Thank you, Tracey for tagging me! *looks in cookie jar* There's only one... Here, you can have it! *gives to Tracey* ^-^)
- Answer all the questions and use the blog graphic for this tag somewhere in your post (Already done. ;))
- Pass along the tag to at least five other people (Oooo, what if I can't decideeeee? XD)
- Wear a sweater (okay, this is optional...but why wouldn't you want to??) (*looks down* Darn, I'm not wearing a sweater and with the heat on in the house, it's too warm! >.< My camp shirt will do!)

Simple enough! Let's start!

Fuzzy sweater (a book that is the epitome of comfort)

Alright, so, I hope I'm getting this right because I don't exactly know what epitome means and DICTIONARY.COM IS NOT REALLY TELLING ME. XD

But I'm guessing it just means it's comforting. In that case, 11 Birthdays is a perfect example. I have reread this book... 5 times? Maybe 7 times. Who knows?! I've read it a bunch and IT'S SO AMAZING. Of all the Willow Falls books, this one has a special place in my heart. It's an easy read and has amazing chemistry and Leo is awesome. ;)

Striped sweater (book which you devoured every line of)

This book sucked me into it's dystopian world the moment I read the first line:

"He began his life standing up, surrounded by cold darkness and stale, dusty air."

Doesn't it already sound intriguing? Just writing it down makes me want to run (ha, see what I did there?) and start reading it again. I loved every tense moment and every deep talk between the characters. I loved how all the characters sometimes just rubbed each other the wrong way and got angry. I really did devour each word, each line, each page. If you haven't read The Maze Runner yet, I highly suggest you do!

Ugly Christmas sweater (book with a weird cover)

Alright, all the Deltora Quest books have really weird covers so I just picked the first one. I am always slightly embarrassed when I check these ones out of the library. 0.O And... yeah. It took me a while to figure this one out since I love a lot of book covers!

Cashmere sweater (most expensive book you've bought)

Okay, okay, so I didn't buy this book, it was given to me but it was the only expensive book that I owned that I could think of! It's about $23 in Canadian dollar and $21 or something in American. But to me, it's worth the extra money! Disenchanted The Trials of Cinderella is the sequel to Grounded The Adventures of Rapunzel and both are amazing twists on fairy-tales! Again, I highly recommend the series!

Hoodie (favorite classic book)

This is my actual copy!
Oh man, this is definitely my favorite classic. The plot, the characters, the style of the writing, it is just the best classic EVER. I really love the humor. And the fact that Peter Pan has a slightly dark side to him, that he isn't just a unique little boy who still has baby teeth and spunk? Now that is an interesting part of the tale. And Hook, don't get me started on that hilarious coward of a pirate. XD And Wendy is incredibly motherly even to Tinkerbell who is constantly trying to kill her. Honestly, just pick this book up some time read it! (Make sure it's unabridged!)

Cardigan (book that you bought on impulse)

So, I bought Behind The Gates at a used book faire on impulse because I had never seen this series before in my life. If I had, I wasn't interested in reading it. I just saw this book in mint condition in the middle of all the roughed up books along with the second book in the series in the same condition. So I picked them up and decided to buy them! I didn't even read the back to see what it was about. When I finally read this book a year or so after I bought it, I realized I had bought a really amazing book! Cheers!

Turtleneck sweater (book from your childhood)

Well, I may be copying the book Josiah chose but this is the book I remember hearing the most growing up. I remember my mom reading it to me while I studied the illustrations with awe. Even then I liked looking at art. ^.^ It's a really great book for kids. I'm blessed that my parents read it to me as a child. And, to kind of quote Josiah, this story has a likeness to the story read in a The Flash episode called "The Runaway Dinosaur." <3

Homemade knitted sweater (book that is Indie-published)

Sadly, I have not read any Indie-published books. At least, I'm pretty sure I haven't... Maybe in my sleep? o.O

V-neck sweater (book that did not meet your expectations)

The first book in The Selection series was really amazing. I loved all the characters and the writing style. It did have a few too many mushy gushy love scenes that went a little too far but I handled it. I was expecting the same in The Elite but sadly, it went downhill. There were even MORE almost inappropriate scenes and the main character seemed to be cheating on the two guys falling for her. Having special moments with one guy one day and then the next day with the other guy. Seems a little wrong to me. I then found out the third book had an actual inappropriate scene and I dropped the series. It stinks because this series had so much potential!

Argyle sweater (book with a unique format)

This book. This book is amazing. The writing style makes the whole book seem like a giant poem! The shorter sentences with lots of describing of feelings and emotions and pain. The whole world is filled with pain what with having no decisions in life because the government pretty much decides your whole life. Where you work, who you love, when you die. Yet again, I am telling you, read this book! ^.^

Polka dot sweater (a book with well-rounded characters)

Okay, before anyone screams "You already used The Maze Runner as an answer and that's THREE books, not one! CHEATER!" please let me explain! XD

As soon as I got to this answer, I thought of these books. But I had already used The Maze Runner so I tried thinking of another book. But I knew if I didn't choose this series, I'd be lying. So, I may be a cheater, this may be breaking a million tag rules, but all I care about is being honest!

I picked this series because I absolutely love the main characters. They all have lots of flaws, they all mess up, they say stupid things at times, but they all care for each other and look out for one another. They act like normal humans and sometimes humans are amazing and sometimes they aren't.

And lemme tell ya something. I'm in the middle of reading The Death Cure and am bawling my eyes out about the characters. But here's the catch. I have never cried reading a book. That, to me, shows this series is awesome.

Thank you so much again, Tracey, for tagging me! This was a delightful tag! And now! I hereby tag:

And anyone else who would like to do this tag! (Sorry, couldn't think of 5 people!)

Have an amazing day everyone!

Jam on!

Comment call: Did you enjoy reading my answers? Which was your favorite answer? Will you do this tag on your blog?

Day 1/July 31st
The Beginning of the Journey

Today started off with the hydro going off.

Yup, at 5:50 in the morning, I woke up because of the sudden quietness. It's amazing how quiet the house was. Something was off and I realized it was because a house is never completely quiet. Even without the soft hum of the fridge felt weird.

Anyhoo, I lay in bed, awake, just waiting for the hydro to come back on and it FINALLY did at 6:30. So I bounced out of bed and packed my last minute stuff.

Then after we stuffed everything into our van, we were off!

We drove for a few hours, including going over the border to the US, we stopped at a yummy bagel place. I got a BLT and raspberry lemonade which was delicious! Then we did some grocery shopping which was humorous cause I was hyper and was talking probably nonstop. XD After grocery shopping, we stopped at a YUMMY frozen yogurt place and I heaped mine with brownie pieces, cookie dough, and more. Then we hit the road again!

This picture was taken when we were almost at our destination!

We reached our cabin after an hour or so and unloaded all of our stuff. I always love exploring cabins and checking out rooms. ^.^ Me and my sisters found the room that we would be sharing. It was quite small, probably cause the bed and bunk bed took up a lot of room but it was cozy. ^-^ After supper, we went out to the lake which was maybe 3-4 minutes away.

We're almost at the lake!

Just a cool sign near the cabin. :)

The lake!
The water looked so tempting that I went into the water with my siblings. We weren't going to get wet since we weren't in our swimsuits but uh, we got wet. XD When we got out of the water, some minks ran right by us on the beach! They jumped onto some rocks and scurried away. They were so adorable. :D

When we walked back, my sisters and I watched the first 2 episodes of Avatar The Last Airbender. (Me and Koolest had already watched those episodes before but we want to show Tracey the show.) After we ate snack, we all went to bed. (Hehe, at 11pm which I don't normally do. XD)

Day 2/August 1st
First Day at the Cabin

Today was basically just a chill day at the cabin which was very relaxing. ^.^

In the afternoon, we all went swimming for an hour or so. The cabin had a two person kayak/canoe and paddle board so we brought them both to the lake! At one time, Tracey, Josiah, and I all went on the paddle board and lemme tell ya, it was hard to balance. We were sitting on it so we had to balance in just a certain way. It was quite funny! XD

Anyway, it got dark super fast and windy too so we hurried inside and read and played Skip bo and laughed. ^.^ In the evening, we watched an episode of The Flash and Once Upon A Time. :D

Day 3/August 2nd
Shopping Day #1

After chilling for the morning, we were off to go shopping at a small town!

At one of the stores, guess what I saw?!

IT'S MIRA, GUYS! I FOUND AN ACTUAL MIRA STATUE!!
Oh! Funny story! At one store, I was about to follow my mom and dad when this old lady walks like literally right in front of me. She looks at me and I am expecting her to say something like sorry or excuse me but no. All she says is "Mmmmm!!" and then walks away. O,o So then I had a running joke for the day saying that old ladies don't say excuse me. XD And actually, a couple of more old ladies walked in my way and didn't say excuse me! XDDD

After walking around for a bit, we stopped for lunch and got pizza and fries. Then we did some more grocery shopping. :P

At the grocery store, guess what I saw?!

That's right! 2 AJ toys! A monkey and arctic wolf. Except, the monkey is supposed to be smaller, right? I think the monkey is at least a fake one made by some other company. Maybe? XD

After grocery shopping, , we stopped at an ice cream place!

Credit to Tracey Dyck
I got cookie dough. XD
Then we drove back to the cabin! Us siblings went to the lake and swam for a while. It was chilly cause the sun wasn't out much and it was a little windy. We played monkey-in-the-middle with one 'monkey' and three people throwing a Frisbee or water missile.

In the evening, I watched "The Maze Runner" for the FIRST time! It was absolutely amazing! Sure, they practically changed everything from the book but it worked nicely in the movie! (One big thing that they changed is that in the book, the Grievers are slug-like while in the movie, they are slimy spiders. Oh well, it worked out well!) I loved the movie so much, I am going to add it to my favorite movie list on my Blogger profile! :D

After us siblings chatted about the movie, we all went to bed since we all tired from the busy day!

Day 4/August 3rd
Shopping Day #2

Credit to Tracey Dyck
It looks so cloudy!
Today was cold and rainy so we decided to go shopping to a larger city an hour away!

Our first stop was a book store! And of course, I got some books!

The Maze Runner//Camp Half-Blood Confidential//Winter Turning
I just had to buy my own copy of The Maze Runner! (I had just finished reading Koolest's copy a few days ago) And I like Percy Jackson so I'll read that guidebook after I get caught up with Olympian stuff. And Winter Turning is the next book I have to read for Wings of Fire. The cover is so pretty. :O

Then we stopped by Target and I got...

MY FIRST EVER DEN SET!!!! :O

I also got a CUPCAKE Adopt-A-Pet house and I felt very happy since I had never seen anyone post about these. (Of course when I get home, everyone has one. XD Oh well!)

Then we ate lunch! I shared chicken, garlic bread, coleslaw, and fries with my dad. Then we drove to Walmart and I got MORE AJ toys!!

I got the two treasure chests at Walmart and the cupcake at Target!
My first AJ plushie! It's super cute AND it was quite cheap at Walmart! Like, 3 dollars!
Then Koolest, Josiah, and I went to Gamestop while Mom and Tracey went to a clothes store and Dad went to another store. I didn't buy anything but looking at the Funko Pop figurines was fun! I really want to buy some of those... XD

After, we went grocery shopping AGAIN! And we bought -wait for it- 50 cream cheese containers!! I know, that sounds insane! But lots of flavors of cream cheeses aren't in Canada and we always have them on bagels so... We bought lots! XD

Then we went on a hunt with our GPS for a donut store that was open. But after checking a few and finding them closed, we gave up and went to Caribou Coffee where I got a delicious coffeeless dark chocolate brownie cold drink. IT. WAS. AMAZING. Also, on the wall, there was a blackboard where anyone can write facts about themselves. It was so cool, I just had to do it!

Credit to Tracey Dyck
Hehe, I wish I had left my username just because then if anyone who played AJ saw this, they could buddy me. Oh well! I left my mark. ;)
When we finally got home, it was 7pm! After a late supper, us siblings watched an episode of Once Upon A Time. Then me and my sisters watched the 2nd last episode of OUAT season 5! So goooood! XD I love that TV show so much.

Then right before bed, Tracey read me and Koolest a fairy tale for fun! It was called "The Tale of A Youth Who Set Out to Learn What Fear Was." It was hilarious and made no sense! (Note: it includes a boy trying to warm up a corpse and playing bowling with bones and skulls. Don't ask! XD) It was 12am before I fell asleep! :o

Day 5/August 4th
Chilling at the Cabin

In the morning, I basically just read, played DS, and watched Josiah play Tomodachi Life on his 2DS XL. (In case you didn't know, Tomodachi Life is about making Miis and letting them interact on an island. You create anyone you want basically. People can date, get married, be friends, and more. XD) Josiah made me! My voice is so high and squeaky! XD (You can adjust people's voice's and personalities.)

After lunch, we took our big inflatable 'island' thing and paddle board to the lake! It was SUPER windy so there were huge waves. But I had lots of fun because I love swimming with my fam. ^.^

When we got back, I was tired (I always am after swimming) so me and my sisters watched another episode of Avatar. Then we drew together. (I may or may not have started a Blogger related drawing. ;)) After hamburgers, we all watched an episode of The Flash. Then Tracey, Koolest, Mom, Dad, and I watched an episode of Once Upon A Time. :D

Then us girls did our little vacation tradition. We played MASH. XD (We aren't serious about it, it's just for fun and laughs.) After we ate snack, Tracey started reading me and Koolest another fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast. She got half done before we decided to sleep. :)

Day 6/August 5th
Swimming Again

Today I got up and read my book, "Donut Go Breaking My Heart. After breakfast, my dad called me and Koolest outside cause there was a lady with her dog!

SO. CUTE!
Goldie, the dog, was SUPER friendly! She let me and Koolest pet her and loved it. XD She just lay there being pure adorable. So, I ran inside and grabbed the camera. When I came back, she look so happy to see me! I snapped a lot of pictures. ^-^

Oh muddy little puppy!! <3
Her owner said that Goldie is part Shih Tzu which is super cute! ^.^

Anyhoo, in the afternoon, we went out to the lake again! We took the two person kayak/canoe and inflatable 'island' thing. There were 5 boats in the shallow waters so we swam past those. I swam, pulled Josiah on the inflatable 'island,' paddled on the paddle board, and pushed people off the inflatable 'island.' XD

Credit to Tracey Dyck
This was literally our backyard. :D
Credit to Tracey Dyck
There were lots of squirrels and chipmunks running around. ^.^
When we got back from swimming, us girls drew more. (Hehe, more of my Blogger drawing. ;)) After supper, us girls watched the LAST episode of Once Upon A Time season 5!!! IT WAS SO GOOD! (We've been watching season 5 since January... XD) Then we watched the hilarious bloopers which made me cry from laughing! XD

Then we all went outside and had a campfire with s'mores. ^.^ We went around saying things we appreciate about one person in our family, then we went to the next person, etc. It was good. ^.^

Right before bed, Tracey finished reading Beauty and the Beast. Then it was bed time!

Day 7/August 6th
Another Relaxing Day

Today I read and chilled with my family. ^.^ It was super nice!

In the afternoon, we went out to swim! :D We took the paddle board out and me and Koolest used it for a while which was super fun. At one point, we couldn't turn around and we were far away from everyone else so I jumped off to turn us around but I didn't realize the water was up to my shoulders already so that was a shock. XD

Credit to Tracey Dyck
Hehe, there's me! On the paddle board! ^.^

Nature. :)
Credit to Tracey Dyck
A mink! It's so cute! I love how they run! ^-^
Credit to Tracey Dyck
More nature! XD
After swimming for 2 hours, I sat around and read and relaxed. After supper, us siblings watched and episode Once Upon A Time. Then we all watched an episode of The Flash. Then it was bed time!

Day 8/August 7th
Coming Back

Sadly, all good things must come to an end.

After we packed up and checked and double checked closets/drawers, we hit the road after we ate breakfast. After an hour or so, we stopped for lunch again at the bagel place and I got another BLT. But this time I had mixed berry lemonade. ^.^

After a few more hours, we were home! It felt weird to be back for some reason. After I unpacked and cleaned up, I read all evening.

BOOKS!!

I think you all know that I love books. A lot. XD And for vacations, I also choose certain books to bring along to read. Want to see what books I brought this year?! ^-^

(Yes, that's right. I took my books on a photo shoot around my yard. Don't ask. XD)

The Maze Runner//Best Friends (Until Someone Better Comes Along)//Call of the Alphas//Donut Go Breaking My Heart//Cress

YES, I GOT THE AJ BOOK FROM AMAZON A MONTH AGO! I wanted to read it on vacation. ^.^

Hand reveal? XD
I recommend all these books to you! ^.^ They were all amazing in their own ways!

BONUS!!!!

A few days before my vacation...

I got...

MY AJ CAP!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I love this cap so much! I wore a bunch on vacation, mostly the first day. (I got a few weird looks. XDD)

The weird thing is, this hat is from China. It took almost a whole month to come! Plus, it came in a bag, with a piece of plastic to keep it in a cap shape. Not much protecting.

BUT IT'S HERE AND I LOVE IT!!!

If you ever see a girl wearing a cap like this, ask if it's me. XD

And that concludes this long post about my journey!

- - -

Thank you for sticking with me for this whole post! XD I hope it was worthwhile!

Also, just a note, I have not caught up with comments lately so please be patient! I'll try to do it this week! :D

Me: Well, have an amazing day and don't forget to ja-
You guys: *snores loudly*
Me: *glares* WAKE UP!
You guys: Hmmph? *rubs eyes* What time is it? Is the post finally done?

Books, Books Galore!

Hi jammers, it's your boi. Yes. DAT BOI.

Ok. That has got to be one of my weirdest intros ever. XD

I wanna talk about books today. You all probably know by now that books are my life. I read loads of books all the time. I talk about books all the time. I look for books in my library all the time.

My family loves books. A LOT. As in, sometimes on a day where all my family is home, we'd all sit around in the living room, sticking our noses into books and drinking coffees or mochas. ;)

When people tell me that they hate books, I'm like, "WHAT? HOW DO YOU LIVE?" XD

Well, before I blabber too much about lovely books, I wanna get to my main point. (Yes, I actually have a MAIN point!)

Yesterday, I got more books!! Squeee! :D

Lemme explain. There was this book fair thing in my mall yesterday. It comes every year. There are loads of used books. Some in looking very unused and some looking reaaally used. I found quite a few good books. ;)

Me and my two sisters did a mini photo shoot of my books. (Some are Koolestkat's and some we will share.) I really want to show you guys the pictures but...

Before you keep reading, I just wanna make it clear that I hate spoilers for books. (Or movies/TV shows.) So if you have read one of these books, please leave all spoilers out of your comment. It's respectful to everyone.

Thank you! ^-^

Here is the stack of all the books me and Koolest got. Surprisingly, I have only read two of these books before! That's totally different compared to other years.

Ok, so as you can see, the first book on the stack is "The Fellowship of the Ring" which is a book Koolest picked, not me. Along with "The Hunger Games".

The next one is "Wizard of Oz". It's a very old classic. And it's literally unabridged! But it's so teeny! :P Koolest is collecting the whole Oz series. (Yes, there's a series of books! It's not just one book!)

Next one is "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Again, it's for my sis. :D

Next up is "Artemis the Loyal". It's a Goddess Girls book. I'm kinda hooked onto Greek mythology because of Percy Jackson. XD

The next one is a Nancy Drew book called "Action!" I'm kinda collecting the series. ;)

Ah, the next one is "The Abduction" by Gordon Korman! I like his books and this series is really good and fast paced.

Next up is three Candy Apple books. "The Accidental Cheerleader", "Miss Popularity", and "Super Sweet 13". I bet these books will be great. ^.^

AHHH, MY ALL TIME FAVORITES!

*silent pause for the great epicness of the books*

Two books from the second Rick Riordan Olympian series! And they were gently used! And they were $22 in store but me and Koolest got them for $3 each! Eeeeeeekkk!!! I can't wait to read "The Throne of Fire" and "The Serpent's Shadow"! So much epic on those covers, I tell ya.

(NO SPOILERS FOR THESE BOOKS, PLEASE!)

And the last one on the stack is "A Smart Girl's Guide to Friendship Troubles". I really like American Girl books. They are super helpful. ;) And this was a way cheaper price then what it was in the store.

Well, that's all! :D

Before I go, I just wanna remind you guys that my party is next week Saturday at 2:30 CST. Also, remember to enter the den contest! For more details on both of these things, scroll down a little.

Have an amazing day, peeps! XD

Jam on!

Yay, I'm using Violet's drawing as my siggy! (Perhaps I
should make a new siggy to change things up a bit?)
