Well, Hello There 2018!

IT'S 2018!!!!!

2017 IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2017 started off with me coming home from the youth retreat after driving all night. I was exhausted but happy to be home.

2018 started off with me starting to write this post and listening to Splatoon music. Not quite as eventful but, eh, who cares. XD

Didja guys stay up all night? I didn't, actually. I mean, I saw the clock at 12AM but I was in bed, almost asleep. XD

What did you guys do to celebrate? My family doesn't do a whole lot but on New Years Eve we had a super yummy supper of bacon wrapped wieners, Caesar salad, chicken wings, and pizza buns. It was all SO good! :o We also played a game called Balderdash which was creative and fun! Before supper, though, me and Koolest and my brother watched DanTDM on our Wii U and then my brother played Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild WHICH IS SO COOL!!!!!! :O You can hunt animals with your bow and arrow, climb mountains or pretty much anything, make food in a pot over a fire, catch fish, and AHHH, it's awesome. XD

Okay! Enough with my little chitchat!

Today's New Years! (Oops, I didn't end up finishing this post on New Years...)

So I'm going to be doing a little New Years post. (I said "little" because I don't have a whole lot of time to write it... heh.)

Looking back at 2017, it was a good, good year. But in some ways, it wasn't as good as I hoped. The main reason being that many of our AJ Blogger friends have quit. And I miss them all so badly. :(

But I try to look at the good of 2017!

Here's a small list of some of what I found good about 2017:

• I got closer to God and started to really enjoy praise and worship at my church or church in general.
• I got super close to some AJ Bloggers due to being able to talk to a lot of them in one place. (Y'all rock. ^-^)
• I started to learn how to really enjoy life.
• I made tons of awesome memories in the summer such as biking in the rain after getting ice cream blizzards (and having one explode on me, XD) or swimming out in the lake with my family on vacation or walking Mocha or biking with Koolest and than stopping somewhere random just to talk or talking for hours with the AJ Bloggers or watching TV shows with my siblings or biking fast down the sidewalks of my city.
• I got more connected into my nursery class at church.
• I learned how to socialize a bit more.
• I drew more and got better.
• I wrote more and got better.
• The Maze Runner series captured me and I seriously am the biggest fangirl for it.
• I found out Splatoon music is awesome. (XD)
• I found out DanTDM is an awesome, hilarious (and kid friendly) YouTuber and now love watching him on our Wii U with Koolest and my brother.
• I hung out with my siblings more.
• I found out that my AJ Blogger friends have my back.

I could keep going on but I think I'll stop here!

I hope you all can look back at 2017 and see that it was a good year! If you can't see it at first, look harder!

Alright, before I end this post off, let's have a little mini throwback. ^.^ I'll be looking at 2017 posts and pick random highlights. Throwbacks are fun so WOO! XD

2017 Throwback - Looking at all the Months

January:

OH MAN, I totally forgot sheep came out in January! I remember being excited that me and Koolest found the sheep door in an adventure. XD

February:

OOO, DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER THIS?! XD Suspense Saver became a superhero this year! (Hmm, he needs to appear more often.... possibly for my JH story, right?! XD)

Suspense Saver still gets called on to this very day...

March:

Koolest/Chloe made the first chapter of JH illustration. I was so proud to announce this and I still love itttttttt! :D My wittle shocked face is su cute! XD

April:

In April, I celebrated my first ever blogiversary! :O Ah, memories, memoriessss!

OH MY, DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER WHEN I CREATED LOTS OF EDITS FOR BLOGGER MEMES?! XDD

I think this hairy brownie was one of everyone's favorites. XD

May:

LARRY THE BUNNY!!!!!!!! XD

Guys, if you have NOT read Swirl's first chapter of Larry the Bunny, YOU MUST DO THAT NOW!!! It is pure awesomeness. XD

June:

AHHH, I remember the Summer Splash Party!! That was so much FUN!!! :D And Cat made this awesome edit for it! :o

(Who thinks this party needs to come back this year?)

Ah, yes. The Team Zios and Team Mira stuff was really popular for a while! (Hehe, I was rooting for Team Zios AKA the winning team. XD)

July:

Anyone remember my Canada Day Party? :O It was super special because Canada turned 100! ^.^

August:

Ahh, that was an incredible vacation. ^.^ I swam almost every day, I got AJ toys, I had a LOT of fun with my family, and I READ THE MAZE RUNNER FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WATCHED THE MAZE RUNNER MOVIE AND IT WAS AWESOME. XD

September:

DO Y'ALL REMEMBER THE SUMMER STORY CONTEST AND THE WINNER WAS ONLY ANNOUNCED IN SEPTEMBER NOT SUMMER?! XD

Ah hahaha, yes, I know. I still haven't made all the winner and runner-up's art. Heh.

October:

Oh yeahhh! I wrote my chapter of the Project in October! :o That was fun! ^.^

November:

In November I stumbled upon Doll Devine! It's actually so much fun and I really love making book/movie/video game characters. XD

OH, MEMORIES!! I remember when we made this, Sarah and Swirl!! That was so fun!!! XD

I also turned 15 in November!! :D

December:

Even though this Christmas countdown happened SUPER recently, it's still an awesome memory and belongs in this throwback. ;)

My Goodies From Christmas!

Ho ho ho HELLO!!! XD

Wowie, can you believe it?! Christmas 2017 is done and 2018 is fast approaching! Saying 2018 is gonna be hard for me because it feels like its still far into future! Like something you'd hear when your waiting for a book or movie to come out... Argh, this is going to be difficult. XD

But anyway! I'll try to make a New Years post later. ;)

TODAY IS ALL ABOUT CHRISTMAS!!!  *screams and runs around the Christmas tree*

I took a lot of pictures of all the gifts I got and I really want to show you them! Everyone seems to be doing it and I love seeing what people get so I thought, why not do the same? :D

Before we begin, I just want to say that I do NOT mean to brag!

Animal Jam stuff:

 

In my stocking, I got four Adopt-A-Pet houses and I was overjoyed to see I got a puppy and raccoon cuz I didn't have those types of pets yet! The wittle pets are all so adorable. :o

I got this Crystal Palace den set!! I really love the Mira statue and I am so happy I got an arctic fox figurine. :O IT'S SU CUTE!

I GOT CLUB GEOZ! I WAS SO NOT EXPECTING IT!!!!! :O

I really loved the raccoon cardboard and the little background thingie so I left those where they were. ALSO, I GOT TWO PIECES OF THE ICE ARMOR! :O I really need a blue fox so I can make Sarah! :D

Also, rest in peace, Club Geoz on AJ. I will keep this toy as a reminder of how awesome you once were. :'( XD

I got this pack of pets!! I DIDN'T KNOW I'D ACTUALLY GET IT!!!! :O I probably acted nuts on the video. XD (My dad films the whole gift unwrapping part of our Christmas day. ^.^)

 

Here's all the pets at Club Geoz! ^.^ I really love them all. :O I ALSO GOT A PET WIZARD HAT WHICH IS AWESOME BECAUSE I CAN MAKE A SWIRL PET!!!! XD

AND HERE'S THE GLORIOUS GOLDEN BUNNY WITH A CHEF HAT!!! XD

I GOT THE FATEST, CUTEST PANDA EVER!!! AND THE PENGUIN IS SO SQUISHYYYY!!!! XD

Again, I was NOT expecting the panda so I squealed so loud when I opened my gift. XD

I'm going to be entering all the codes later! :D (Club Geoz gives me a two week membership... does that add on to my membership that I have already?)

Random stuff:

I got a Legend of Zelda calendar!!! :D I really really wanted it because 1. I LOVE LEGEND OF ZELDA! and 2. THE ARTWORK IS STUNNING!!!!! :o

I got a boxed set of The Maze Runner books!!!!!!!!!!! :D Sadly, it didn't include The Fever Code and I already own the first book so I just gave the extra to Tracey. ;) IT'S SUCH A PRETTY BOXED SET AND I LOVE THE BOOKS AND I WILL REREAD THEM SOOOOOON!!!! XD

I got A Little Taste of Poison! It's a sequel to A Pocket Full of Murder which is an amazing book and I love it! AND I GOT MY FIRST EVER FUNKO POP! :O

Actually, Koolest had gotten me the book for her ticket gift to me so my parents will exchange the extra for a different book. ^.^

AND I KNOW THAT THE FLASH FUNKO POP IS FROM THE JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE AND NOT THE TV SHOW. SO SHUSH AND DON'T TELL MEEEE CUZ I AM PRETENDING IT'S FROM THE SHOW. XD

I got lots of good CANDY!!!! :O I got a mint chocolate bar (I love mint and chocolate together. Mint chocolate milkshakes are so AWESOME but anyway...), an orange chocolate ball, some gummy fruit candy, a bag of Christmas shaped gummies, and some penguin and sharks gummies. THE PENGUINS TASTE LIKE PEACH! XD

Random stuff!! Woo! XD First off, I got ADORABLE pug socks! (one is named Ellie, the other is Darcie. If you watch DanTDM, you know why!) Next up is some nice pens and two 25 dollar iTunes cards! Then there's some flower earrings (which you can't really seeeee, sorry!) and some eye shadow! Then there's three LEGO Ninjago Movie minifigures. XD I GOT LLOYD, WOO! XD

By the way, it's Newt A5 The Glue, not AS! XD

This BEAUTIFUL shirt was custom made by Koolest and it was part of her ticket gift to me! It's from The Maze Runner, for those who don't know, and Newt is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE character. He's smart, caring, and cute. I mean, c'mon, who could ask for more? Also, WICKED gave him the title as The Glue, which means he's the guy who holds his friends together. ;)

AND THIS SHIRT IS NOW MY FAVORITE SHIRT EVER. XD

The back of the shirt says Property of WICKED!!! EEEEEP, KOOLEST, THANK YOU FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL SHIRT!!!! :D

Got a red turtleneck and a red dress! My family says red looks good on me so WOOHOO cuz I like red. XD THE DRESS IS SO SOFT AND COMFY!!!! I wear it with leggings and its quite a snazzy outfit. ;D

Me and Koolest got SIXTY alcohol based markers! And these are NOT kiddish markers! Artists use them and you can blend the colors and shade with them! AND LOOK AT ALL THE PRETTY, PRETTY COLORS!!!

The sweatshirt is from The Flash and y'all know I'm obsessed with that show!

I GOT A S.T.A.R. LABS SWEATSHIRT. LIKE WOOOO, I WANTED ONE SO BADLY!!!!! I'm wearing it right now and IT'S SO COMFY AND WARM! I also got those grey sweats and I am also wearing them right now and THEY ARE COMFY TOO, I WANNA GO TO SLEEP. (It's almost 10pm at the time I am writing this so that's probably why. XD)

Heh, I started writing this post yesterday but stopped after this point because I was tired and needed to sleep. XD



 

Koolest/Chloe Grace drew me this ADORABLE Link drawing! It took her 2 and a half hours to COLOR it!!!!! LIKE WOAH, THAT'S INSANE! :O (Guys, whenever I get surprised in this, for some reason, I think of DanTDM doing his crazy little backing up in chair and waving his arms and legs weirdly thing. XDD) THANK YOU KOOLEST FOR THIS AMAZING ART!!!!! :D

 

MY SIBLINGS AND I GOT ONCE UPON A TIME SEASON SIX!!!!!!!! Ohhhh, I have watched the first episode already and THERE IS SO MANY PLOTS GOING ON, LIKE, WHOA! XD

I think it'll make more sense as it goes on. XD I was just kinda sitting there like, "What." XD I haven't watched OUaT in a while too so it makes sense why I'm a bit confused!

12 Days of Christmas - FINAL DAY!!!

 

 

GUYS, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

 

I can't believe it's already the big day!!! I woke up and actually didn't remember it was Christmas for a little while. Then when I realized it was, I wanted to scream "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" but that would have woken Koolest up. XD

 

So instead, I wandered to the living room, sat on the couch with my fuzzy blanket, and whispered, "Merry Christmas!" (Don't ask why... XD)

 

Yesterday, I got the most amazing stuffffff! I got some pug socks (I immediately thought of DanTDM! So one sock is named Ellie and the other is Darcie!) I got some AJ toys! I got shirt that Koolest made online and LEMME TELL YA, I WILL BE WEARING THAT SHIRT EVERYWHERE. CUZ I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH! I WILL BE WEARING IT TODAY ALONG WITH MY PUGGIE SOCKS! XD I think I will show you lots of my gifts in a different post this week. ;)
