RIM, Tags, and I'm Back!

Anyhoo, guess who's back from a long week at camp? Meeee!!

Ahem, I will tell you more about camp later in this post. For now, let's talk about today.

IT'S RARE ITEM MONDAY!

Today's lovely rare is... a Rare Head Bandage. A purple bandage. o.O Interesting. It's sold at the Medical Center Shop for 900 gems. Wow. XD I don't know why AJHQ likes bandages right now. Last week it was a leg brace or whatever it's called. I would have thought the rares would be school-ish and stuff. (Like bringing nerd glasses back...?!)

1) If you could only have one clothing item on AJ, what would it be?

Oh man, that's tough! I love all my items! But I'd have to say... my designer skirt. (the red or yellow) I really like them and they and you can still have a great outfit with just that item. I'll show you, using my fox and both of my designer skirts:

2) What's your favorite AJ feature? (such as masterpieces, buddies, etc)

Well, buddies, definitely. But besides that, I love masterpieces! :D And JAGs!

3) What animal would you like to see on AJ?

Oh! Good question! Uh, lemme think. This is really random but... A PLATYPUS! XD I don't know, it'd be kinda cool. :P

4) AJHQ just granted you 100 diamonds. What do you spend them on?

LOL, I almost already have that! (I have 89 diamonds) But if I got 100, I would spend it on animals, clothing, and the armor. Like the Princess set and Phoenix set. Or maybe the Wind set... XD

5) If you could create your own world on AJ, what would it be?

Hmm, maybe like China? Mountainy and lots of bamboo and waterfalls. And really cool, peaceful Chinese music playing in the background. :) It'd be pretty nice.

All right, it's time for me to talk a little bit about camp. :D

So when I got there around 4pm on Sunday, the 21st, we were early. But there was this mom with her girl also waiting. Turns out, my mom knew the girl's mom and the girl's mom works where my brother works! ^-^

The girl was really nice and friendly. I was hoping we'd get the same cabin as her. And we did! Me and Koolest were in the same cabin with six other girls and two cabin leaders. The girl we met in the parking lot was in our cabin too. Yay! XD

I had a BLAST at camp. It was a way better experience then I had last year. I connected with my cabin instead of last year where I was my shy, non-me self. :)

My cabin leaders were sooo sweet! One of them woke us up all the time at 8:30 every morning with this bright, beautiful "Gooooood morning!" :D She called us 'munchkins' when we went to bed. She also hugged me and Koolest a ton before we left. :')

Our other cabin leader was one of the people singing in chapel. She had a great voice! :D

Oh, and the camp had hardly any campers. There were forty-five campers when the week before they apparently had a hundred. There were four girl cabins and only one boys cabin. XD

At camp, me and Koolest had the same activities (called 'skills' at camp)! We had (in this order): crafts, drama, swimming, and survival.

In crafts, we sanded a piece of wood, painted it, and then thought up a Bible verse to put on it with nails and thread. I picked Ephesians 3:17-18. :)

In drama, we did a skit on Esther where it was like a talk show thingie. It was kinda like the selection of picking the new queen for the king. I, proudly, was Contestant Number Three. XD I was all shy and quiet. I borrowed a girl's hoodie that was grey and 'shy-ish'.

In swimming, I swam. XD It was a nice big pool. A lot of campers were there. The life guard remembered my name, which is awesome. ^-^ I had to stay in the shallow end because, confession, I can't swim. I haven't swam a lot in my life, maybe a few times a year. So at the pool, I practiced. I could swim a bit but not too much.

In survival, we learnt how to tie cool knots, make a fire, make a shelter with trees. We even learnt how to cook a frog! XD Koolest had a small piece. She said it wasn't bad. We first had to go into groups and spread out into the woods. Then, we caught as many frogs as we could. Next, we brought them back and pulled off their skin. After that, we stuck the frog meat onto a stick and roasted it over a fire. XD I had a lot of fun, though! (not because my camp crush was in survival, like c'mon.... XD)

My cabin leaders said they saw me grow. I do feel more confident in myself and in my faith. I cried a ton when I left camp. I made my cabin leader cry too. But I'm also glad to be home and to sleep in my own comfy bed. ^.^

Oh, I have a story for you guys! You don't mind, do you? :D Okay, so, on Wednesday, we had our afternoon skills canceled because we were doing the Amazing Race! In there, we were separated into teams. So my team was my cabin, Mizpah. One of the funnest games in the Amazing Race was when we had to cross the river. We all had to hold hands and cross the river and find a ball. Then we had to bring it back. The highest the river water went was up to my neck and I was on tiptoes! Also, none of us used life jackets. It was scary at first but then I had a blast. :D After we finished, the person in charge of that game thingie said that some of the boys in the boy cabin didn't even do it. LOL, they were too wimpy! XD

Another fun game in the Amazing Race was pushing a van. XD We had to push a van all the way down a curve in the road and then back to where we had started.

If I had to describe my week at camp with one word, it would be: amazing. XD Or friend-building. :P I seriously made quite a few friends at camp. Which is totally surprising for me!

Oh man, so hard! >.< I really like Ross Lynch and Dove Cameron but Robbie Kay is also good in Once Upon A Time so I don't know. XD OH! And the actor who does Barry in The Flash! He's also really good. :P

Uh, this is hard! Well, I like Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2. I like Inside Out, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia. I like a lot of movies. :D

3. Do you have a favorite movie series? If so, what is it?

Um, I don't think I watch any movie series... 0.o

4. Which do you prefer, books or movies?

BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!!

5. What type of movies do you like?

Um, family friendly ones, like Zootopia. And some musicals. :)

6. Your opinion on movies vs. TV shows.

I like TV shows because you really get to know the characters because TV shows are longer then movies. But lots of movies are really good so I don't know.

7. Is there a movie you currently really want to see?

Um... Kinda! I really want to see The Jungle Book, The Secret Life of Pets, and Finding Dory. :P

In Animal Jam, I have 197. XD And in real life, I have my family and two others. :) But I feel that all the AJ bloggers are my friends. <3

2. What is your main look?

Well, when I first started this blog, I didn't know that my profile picture would turn into my main look since my deer isn't even my favorite animal. XD But it is my deer and what it is wearing is: a gray beret, a gray designer skirt, a red heart locket, and a red pearl bracelet.

3. Were you even included in bad drama? If so, tell us!

Hmm... I have probably been in some but I don't know what you count as bad drama. XD

4. What computer are you using right now?

Uh, some kind of laptop... XD

5. Who is your favorite blogger?

"Gold Medal Winter" was an amazing book about a 16 year-old girl who goes to the Winter Olympics. Esperanza Flores has been dreaming and working for this moment for her entire life. Now that she is going to the Olympics, she has to deal with no distractions, including the news, where she could see people discouraging her. Also, when she is finally at the Olympics, drama starts, including: cute boys, prissy girls who want to win and only care for themselves, and more.

I thought it was an awesome book. I highly recommend it! ^.^

"The Night Gardener" is a really good horror book. It's scary yet I could still sleep and stuff. It's about a sister and brother named Molly and Kip. They are traveling to this place called sourwoods to work at a family's house. But everyone warns them not to go into the sourwoods. When they get there, they start working for an odd family. Kip does the yard work and Molly cleans inside. But the strange thing is, why is there a giant, dark tree so close to the house that it is growing inside? And who or what keeps making big, muddy footprints in the night?

It is really good, so you should totally read it! :D

Also, shout-out to two amazing books, "Lost in Ireland" and "Lost in "London". Those two were SUPER good! :D

And since on my last post, I mentioned "Top of the World" by Dove Cameron, I decided to post it! Enjoy!!

Ok, so this is gonna be random. But I have done some AJ quizzes and felt like posting the results. :)

So I am a falcon? o.o An animal I don't even have? Oh well, they are super cool looking so that's not a bad result. And why doesn't this say my 'personality'? It's just facts... Weird!

I am Liza. That's pretty good! Though, I argue with the social part. I am actually shy. But in the right crowds, I am talkative and hyper. XD And wow, what a long 'personality'. :P

RIM and Stories!

Heyo, guys! You probably already know this but it is Rare Item Monday! :)

Storytime! XD I feel like doing a post about stories of myself. I don't wanna sound greedy, I just love telling stories. If you know me, you will also know I blabber. In real life and online. Though if you see me at craft class at the library, you will see that I am very shy. I just sit by myself and watch everyone. People are quite interesting. XD

So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy and laugh a little. ^-^

So, this is a very random story. XD What's up with weird animals coming when I go outside to blog?! xD Here it is:

Once upon a time... Wait no. Just a few minutes ago, I was sitting outside with Koolestkat when my eye caught movement on the street. There was something running to our yard. I thought it was cat but I found out it was a huge, weird looking bunny with looonnng legs. It's eyes were really creepy... It ran halfway onto our yard and stopped. Koolest then jumped up and ran at it, to scare it. (We have a garden, you see, and rabbits are very good thieves.) So she ran to the backyard. And then the ugly rabbit came out to the front. I stared at it while it ran across the street.

THE END.

Next is another random story. :P You guys don't mind, right? :) Here it is:

Once upon a time, me and Koolest were walking. (XD Great starting line, right?) We were walking to the library. It was cloudy and I think it just rained.

So you may want to know, I get very hyper with Koolest. So we were laughing and talking when I think I heard something and turned to see what it was. It was a guy biking really fast coming up behind us. So I was gonna warn Koolest to move and said her name a little loudly. She, being used to jumping to the grass to let people pass, moved in the grass. Right when the guy biked into the grass. (XD) So he almost biked into her. Thankfully Koolest moved a little and got out the way. She yelled, "Sorry!" to the guy. I laughed at her.

Next is about camp. Yes, another camp story. XD This story is... Odd. Enjoy! xD

Okay, so, there were three girls who liked this guy. He wore lots of cat t-shirts so they called him Meow. They would be like, "Meeeeooow..." And then dreamily sigh. They liked him so much, they went into the guy's side. Which made the counselors were upset about that. I'll called these three girls the Lovers.

Then they were three girls who hated boycrazy girls. They hated their loud talking. They were the kind of type who would break a rule. But I don't know for sure. I'll called these girls the Haters.

So one day, I was walking by myself on the very long path to my cabin from the beach. When I reached my cabin, I think I was the only person there. I was very surprised to find that some of the girls underwear was out in the middle of the floor, in a heart shape. Confused, I sat on my sandy bed to wait. Some other girls finally came from their activities and were also shocked at the heart.

Then when everyone was in the cabin, one of the Lovers cried out, "Eww, there's a snail in my bed!!" Everyone went around her to see. Sure enough, there was a little snail. Then another Lover found a snail in HER bed. Then someone found a dead minnow in her bed. The counselors were pretty mad. They asked who did it. No one said anything. We were all just sitting in our bunks, quiet and some were giving glares at others. By the way, one of the girls with the snail in the bed started crying. Finally, the three Haters said they had done it. I still felt bad because I thought people thought I helped since I was at the beach and the first one back from the activities.

You remember the meanish girl from my other camp story? Well, she was quite mad and she was one of the Lovers. And she kept giving me deadly looks.

After this, it was free time. But no one was happy. So I hung with some girls who weren't Haters or Lovers.

Finally, I went up to the Lovers at supper and said, "Hey, sorry about the snail thing. But I had nothing to do with it, really." One of Lovers said, "It's ok. We know you didn't know it."

Also, the underwear heart thing was a joke. Some counselor went into our cabin and did that. She sure picked the wrong day. XD

I feel like sharing random, little, funny summer stories. Who doesn't love a good laugh and a story? :) I hope it is okay if I do this. ^-^

Today's story takes place at camp, last year. I went to camp for the first time! Well, besides family camp. I was super excited but also nervous.

Turns out, my cabin had one girl that apparently thought I was worthy enough to pick on. She would throw little jabs at me. It hurt but I was mostly embarrassed. She also got mad at me. It was very annoying to try to figure out what I did wrong.

We had free time on the Wednesday I was there. So we all decided to have showers because we could only shower during cabin free time. There was a bathroom right outside our cabin but I heard it had colder water then the one farther ahead by the climbing wall. I don't really like cold water so I walked to the climbing wall one. So did two or three girls from my cabin and counselor. One of the girls was the one who didn't like me very much.

So we all had SUPER fast showers, cause there was a long line of girls waiting. When we were all done and were at the cabin again, the meanish girl realized she had lost her clean underwear that she had taken to the showers. XD I almost laughed but I didn't want her to not like me less. So me and her and the counselor went back on the path to the showers, looking for it. :P

We didn't find it. Which again made me want to laugh. XD Though if I had lost mine, I wouldn't want someone to laugh at me so I didn't. She looked really embarrassed...

At the end of the week, it was almost time to go home. Outside the chapel, there was a lost-and-found table. As our cabin walked by the table, the meanish girl whispered, "Look! There's my underwear!". XD But she didn't want to take it with all the people around. So she waited till the area cleared out and took it. :P

So yeah, I hope you enjoyed my camp story! There will defiantly be another few camp ones. I had a lot of funny moments... xD (The story turned out longer than I thought it would! Sorry!)

On Friday, I decided to try drawing another Masterpiece, since my first one didn't get approved. I started drawing an arctic wolf. That turned into Aparri... XD I have no clue why I drew him but I did. Don't ask me why! So I started actually on Thursday night but I didn't have enough time so I finished it on Friday morning. :D And on Sunday afternoon, I checked my Jam-a-Grams and it had gotten approved!!

Then on Saturday, I decided to draw Snowyclaw's pig. It also got approved on Sunday!! ^-^



I might draw WisteriaMoon or something next. I really don't know if I'll draw all the 'big' and famous Jammers... I'll just see what I feel like doing. :D

It is time for Book of the Month! Let's see what was my favorite book that I have read this month...

Oh goodness, out of the ten books that I have read this month, three of them would be most worthy for Book of the Month! XD Hmm, how do I pick only one of them? Fine, I will give the Book of the Month 'award' to:

"The Selection"! This book was VERY good! Full of romance, this book was hard to put down. Though it may be just me but I would tone down the bad language and make the kisses less. But other then that, it is amazing. Worth reading, that's for sure!

Plot: America is part of thirty-five girls who are selected for a contest called the Selection. It's a chance of a lifetime because whoever wins gets to marry the prince and become the princess. But America doesn't want to be part of it. She's happy with her life before the Selection and her boyfriend. If she goes, she has to leave him. But then she meets the prince. She then starts to question if she does want her old life back.

I would also like to mention the other two books that I liked. "Sit, Stay, Love" and "Someday Dancer" were amazing! I recommend them. ^.^

Speaking of books, here's a random fact. I have read 2,263 pages this month and all year I have read 13,979 pages. XD Another fact: I have read 64 books this year. Yes, yes, I know. I am a bookworm. :P

So this week, I am taking care of a dog with Koolest. We also have to take care of the dog next week as well. The dog is super sweet and her house is only a few blocks away from my house. We have to check on the dog, Mocha, four times a day. Morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It is quite tiresome sometimes but it is mostly fun. Except for cleaning up after her. XD She has made a mess two times in the house already. O.o So the house kinda stank for a while.

Mocha is part Pomeranian, part Yorkshire Terrier. She doesn't bark much, only when you hold her toy and she can't get it. XD She is quite cat-ish sometimes. Why catish, you say? Well, her favorite treats are cat treats, she stretches like a cat, and she rubs against you. Very cat-ish. XD But I love her. Her whimpers are the most heartbreaking thing ever. It makes me wanna run to her and comfort her but maybe that is because I am a big softie for her. ^-^ She has this big pillow in her kennel and one time when we were going to let her out in the morning, I couldn't see her and the pillow was in the front. So I looked in and saw she was somehow behind the pillow even when the pillow was at the back when we put her to bed. XD

Also, last Wednesday, me and Koolest took a babysitting course! From 9am to 4pm, we sat and listened. XD I was quite tired when I came home. But I am happy I finally took the course. I finally get to have a job where I take care of kids and get money! :P So there might be some days in the future where I won't be able to post, depending on how many jobs I get. :)

So yeah, I just thought I'd talk a wee bit about my life and stuff. :D Hope you enjoyed!

So, you probably have noticed by now but I changed my blog background to be more summery! I know summer started a while ago but I feel like adding something summery to this post! ;D Here's a beachy song by one my fave guy artist. (Also, did I mention how wonderfully adorable he is?! Sorry, I just love him... XD)

Rare Item Monday and Outfit Ideas!

Hallo Jammers! Welcome to another post about...

Rare Item Monday!!

 

 

Rare Sandals! They are sold at the Summer Carnival and can be bought for 5,000 tickets. Mamamia! XD That is a lot! Also, surprise, surprise, the rare is members only!

 

 

Blue for non-member rares and yellow for member rares.

 

Wowie, AJHQ broke their pattern!! :o But maybe the non-member rare on Make Music Day counted for something. Who knows? ^.^

Today I felt like giving outfit ideas! Both member and non-member. :D

 

Since Freedom Day is coming up, let's start with a non-member outfit and a member outfit.

 

A Freedom pig! All the items all for non-members so anyone can wear this outfit. ^-^

 

Technically only the sword is members only but I realized that I hardly have any member Freedom clothes! XD

 

Now for summer outfits!

 

 

The blue Sun Hat is wonderful for the beach and the Ribbon Scarf works nicely with it too!

 

 

The Hula Skirt and Sun visor will be perfect for the beach. And add some bling with beachy pearls!

 

And the last outfit idea is adventure! ^-^

 

You could really have any color of Bow and Arrow or Raccoon Hat. Anything that matches! :)

Kind of Robin Hood-ish looking. But it still looks adventurey! :D

RIM, Art, and Giveaway!

Hola amigos! Or Jammers. Whichever one you want. XD

It is Rare Item Monday! Hoorah! ^-^

A Rare Sombrero! Again, it is members only. It is found in the Summer Carnival for 4,000 tickets. Also, the rare has AJHQ's favorite colors for RIMs. Minty green and purple. :P Not the worst colors they could like. What would happen if they liked puke green or something?! XD

And now for my RIM calendar!

Yellow for member rares. Blue for non-member rares.

Next Monday's rare is gonna be non-member!! :D Yay!

So on Saturday, a friend of mine asked for a masterpiece on AJ! This was my first person asking me to draw them one. So I agreed and they wanted me to draw their animal. I started almost right away! It took me, like, 30 or so minutes. And here is my finished work! :D

I thought I didn't do too shabby. I mean, I am not that amazing with computer painting and I had to keep flipping from a picture of Jammer4yw3f to my paint. :) Then I sent it to AJHQ!

Just this evening, I got a Jam-a-Gram, so I clicked on it...

Dang, it wasn't approved! D: I bet they didn't approve it because I added the username! Why did I do that?! >.<  If I could go back to the past, I would change that. Oh well. I guess I could either make a new one or tell my friend that I can't! Next time, I AM NOT ADDING USERNAMES!! xD

Just this evening, I was playing AJ with my sis and all of a sudden, she saw two people talking. They were saying their hair and eye color! One of them said they knew Wisteriamoon in real. That they were in the same country and were BFFs. 0_o So then the fox (who is "BFFs" with Wisteria) said if the other had "sk". I am guessing they meant Skype! The other one (who is a pig) was confused. So the fox said something along the lines of, "the thing you use to chat with people in private". So the pig then got it and said they had it! The fox then said, "my name is complex" and then the pig disappeared, thank goodness! I swooped in and told the fox that it was WRONG to try to contact others and that they shouldn't do it. They said, "why? :)" And then left.

I just couldn't believe it. Hopefully they never are able to contact each other. I think they became buddies though so... >,<

Stay on the lookout! For Jammer's safety! XD
